The Cowshed is our newest cottage, completed in December 2019 – spacious, bright and luxurious in keeping with the surroundings of Plough and Harrow Cottages.
We started our refurbishment project of the barns at Hog Hill in 2012 with the conversion of a cart shed and hay loft with the aim to preserve the original character of the building with an emphasis on lots of natural light…
Harrow and Plough are the first pair of cottages we restored in 2012 and we find they are popular throughout the year for families, couples and groups of friends wishing to enjoy the Suffolk countryside.
Plough and Harrow are our two self catering cottages at Hog Hill Farm. Both sleep up to 4 people and can be booked separately for couples and small groups or together to make the perfect getaway for larger families or groups of friends.
Our cottages have been carefully restored to preserve the original character of the former cart lodge and hay loft with an emphasis on lots of natural light. The living areas have been stylishly furnished with comfy sofas and armchairs and an extendable dining table. Both cottages have central heating as well as a wood burning stove and we provide a supply of logs for our guests during the winter months. Fresh linen and towels are also provided.
Pets are welcome but must be kept downstairs at all times.
A cot and is available, but is used at guests’ own risk. Both cottages have Wi-Fi.
A BBQ is available for use at the guests’ risk.
