There are so many activities for all of the family to enjoy and Suffolk is a great place to bring the kids. From crabbing at Walberswick, building sandcastles on Southwold Beach or discovering rare wildlife at RSPB Minsmere to going boating on Thorpeness Mere, enjoying a day at the zoo at Africa Alive or travelling back to the Anglo Saxon era at Sutton Hoo.
We would also recommend Framlingham Castle and the town, especially on a Tuesday which is Market Day. English Heritage provide some very good tours of the castle.
Old Hall Farm near Southwold caters for all the family with a superb cafe with great views over the Blyth Estuary and good walks from the farm, a Maize Maze during the summer and autumn especially at Halloween, and a superb play area for children of all ages. Tibby’s Green in Southwold also has an excellent playground which is near the church.
There is plenty to keep your little ones (and you!) entertained.
